         "Just the Basics"
Specials (2, 3, 4, or 6 hours);

         "Trip Tune-up" Specials - Fresh & Saltwater (two hours);

           Fly Casting-only Instruction (three hours); and,

          "Full Day Immersion Instruction"  Combination on-land
            instruction and on-stream real world fly fishing experience on
            North Georgia trout waters.

All instruction is custom scheduled and can be staged over time allowing you to develop & master your newly learned skills on your own before advancing to the next class level.

Our offerings address all skill levels at affordable rates to fit anyone's budget. If you want "Just the Basics", we now have a 2 hour class that has an introduction to fly casting, knot tying, and leader set-up. Our newest offerings combine on-land instruction and real world fly fishing on a North Georgia trout stream. We take our fly fishing and instruction seriously but also stress having some fun while you're learning to fly fish!

Class course content is not overstated to impress you with things that are either impossible to achieve initially, are never covered intentionally, or so confusing that it interferes with learning. However, our class materials are very complete and comprehensive. All first-time "Just the Basics 3 or 3 Plus" and Full Day participants also receive a copy of "Fly-Fishing Tactics for Trout, Bass, Panfish, Saltwater... Your Guide to the Best Fly-Fishing Tips, Techniques & Tackle". This is a 48-page publication of the American Fly-Fishing Trade Association.

Instruction participants are encouraged to join the Atlanta Fly Fishing Club. Visit their web site at: www.atlantaflyfishingclub.org for more information and membership.

Special Offer:

Anyone that takes a four (4) hour or longer class (or, puts together a Group) AND joins the Atlanta Fly Fishing Club as a member (for only $15/year) will be offered additional fly fishing instruction assistance on the Chattahoochee River (the 'Hooch) for FREE.

        "There's a BIG difference between fly casting and fly fishing.
         Fly fishing begins when the fly hits the water".

                                                        Jose Wejebe, Famous TV Fishing Host - Spanish Fly

Fly Casting Instruction is conducted on dry land and is a true outdoor experience. Fly casting is a foundation building block that gets you 1/3 of the way along to becoming a successful fly angler in both streams and rivers. Particularly for saltwater anglers, learning the double-haul is a necessity to overcome pesky wind conditions and to cast greater distances. Freshwater fly anglers also use the double-haul to their advantage.

Fly Fishing Instruction begins on dry land and extends to the real world on private North Georgia trout waters.

Full Day Immersion Instruction is our newest instruction offering geared toward the busy individual that wants to spend a minimum of time learning the most that can be learned in a given day. This private instruction offering takes a compressed A-Z approach with a combination of on-land casting instruction and fly fishing on trout waters learning technique and presentation.

Maximum of two anglers at a time. Guaranteed to help you get "up and going" in the shortest period of time.

Private Coaching & Problem Analysis is also offered both on land and on water.
