Instruction Locations

Fly Fishing Instruction begins on dry land and can extend to the real world on local or private North Georgia trout waters. The location for Metro Atlanta clients is along the Chattahoochee River north of
I-285 (Atlantans call it "the Perimeter"). There's plenty of casting room and the river is a stroll away.
Our newest option takes you on a day of great fly fishing on one of North Georgia's most productive trout streams (not offered during the hot summer months).

Fly Casting Instruction is conducted on dry land and is a true outdoor experience. Fly casting is a foundation building block that gets you 1/3 of the way along to becoming a successful fly angler in streams, rivers, ponds, lakes (like Lake Sidney Lanier), or even saltwater if you enjoy fly fishing for species such as Redfish, Sea Trout, Bonefish, and Permit.

The shores of Lake Lanier is also an instruction location. Beautiful scenery overlooking the lake as you learn the art of fly casting and fly fishing. This location is on the west side of the lake close to Cumming. Evening fly casting instruction is also offered during daylight saving time hours. A great location to practice your roll casts or kayak casts!

Private Coaching & Problem Analysis is also offered both on land and on water. Particularly for saltwater anglers, learning the double-haul is a necessity to overcome pesky wind conditions and to cast greater distances.
