The details of the 2009 Trip have yet to be completed.
We had a great time in 2008 with LOTS of fish to the net!

The Fall steelhead trip is a GREAT trip for anyone that would like to try their hand at chasing big, wild, sometimes "out-of-control" chromers fresh from the Great Lakes where they have bulked up on shiners for the majority of the year.  Double digit days are not un-common once we find the fish.

We're talking BIG FISH!  Ken has years of experience fishing these Great Lakes tributaries, as a former native New York State resident, who now resides in the South.

Note: These are hosted trips; not guided trips!

Each day we fish our brains out -- but the libations, a good dinner, and fish tales (lies ???) at the end of the day gets us through to the next day of steelheading.

The Lake Erie trib's are our primary destination; however, rainy conditions could push us to fish the tributaries of Lake Ontario. This trip takes place in early November when it is rare to see any sign of snow and, at times, we have fished only wearing a light rain jacket to ward off any early morning chill in the air.  However, it could turn cold as well so
one must be prepared just in case.
A recommended equipment list is provided to each trip participant.
